Not to mention my mom keeps flipping out everytime I actually get some time to relax and go to the beach or watch TV. Yesterday she called me and listed all the numbers I could have phoned her.Really? c'mon. hope your summer days are turning out to be better than mine.

Duke Dare Diary: Describe yourself in one word.
Jeidy Santos: I believe I am Independent.
DDD:Do you have any elementary school memories?
JS: My grade 7 camping trip we spent 3 days on a couple of islands. We kayaked to get there.
DDD: Have you ever had a job?
JS: I worked at Thifty Foods for 5 months as a Cashier.I liked working there cause i made some cool friends.
DDD: Tell me a little bit about your childhood.
JS:When I was 5 years old I lived with my mother and grandmother in the Dominican.I moved to Canada when I was 11 years old, because my mom married a Canadian man. I went to Margret Jenkins.
DDD: What did you think of canada when you arrived?
JS: I liked it but I missed the Dominican, cause my family was there. On the way over my mom and i got stuck in Amsterdam. In the Dominican they told us that we didn't need green cards so we left. We had a connecting flight through Germany, where our lugage got stuck. We had to stay in Amsterdam for a week. The first 3 days we slept in the airport. When we got a hold of my step dad we got us to stay in a hotel. For the day we would explore the shoppes around the hotel.
Mrs. Watson Questionaire
Duke's Dare Diary: When did you start teaching at Oak Bay High?
Mrs. Watson: I came here 5 years ago( when I was in Grade 8) This year I will be graduating with you. haha
DDD:What do you teach?
Mrs.W: English 9 and 10, and P.E 10.
DDD: When you came to the school what were your first impressions?
Mrs. W: It's a big place, lots of smiling intelligent people. I went to high school in Cowichan and Oak Bay was a rival. We were always trying to beat them at something. I played on every sports team imaginable.
Oak Bay has the typical-- "stereotypical" high school students. They are friendly, I enjoy their energy.
DDD: Have you coached any sports teams here?
Mrs. W: I coached the Jr. and Sr. Badminton teams for the first two years I came to oak Bay.
DDD: Where did you go to school for your degree?
Mrs. W: I went to Uvic for my Bachelors degree in Education.
DDD: Before you came to Oak Bay where did you teach?
Mrs. W: I taught at Lansdowne from 1985-1992. Then I went to Shoreline for 4 years. Then went back to Lansdowne for a couple of years. Then Reena Virk was murdered and I really had to re evaluate my thoughts and personal self. So I moved to oak bay in 2005.
